Golfing at Elephant Rock, Williams, AZ (Thursday, August 13th, 2018)

We are camping with the side by side club in Williams, Arizona, and decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather up here to play some golf.  Night time temps are in the 50's and day time in the 80's.  What a treat from the heat of Lake Havasu!

Elephant Rocks is a beautiful mountain course that we had never played before, so we made a tee time with Sam and Sharyn.

There are beautiful gray squirrels up here!

This course is amazing!  The grass is so nice and squishy.  I love it!

This is one of the par threes, you have to make it over the water, and then the rock wall too.

Everyone of us struggled on this hole except for Steve, and look at his drive.  About four feet from the pin.  He called it a lucky shot!

Three deer greeted us on one of the holes, and then ran off into the trees to relax.

This is the 18th hole, a beautiful down hill drive back to the club house.

I would love to play this course again.  Beautiful tee boxes, fairways and greens and the weather couldn't be better this time of year.

When we finished our golf game, we all headed into town for lunch at this little comfort food restaurant.

What a great day!  I can't believe that in all our years of coming to Havasu that we have never taken the time to visit Williams.  This little town is great!
