38 Hours In Oregon (Saturday, September 21st, 2019)

In spite of all the craziness in our kids lives lately, they decided to make the 7 hour trek down the Oregon coast to see us one last time before we leave.  So we are going to do a replay of our favorite places in this area just for them.  We can't wait!

Stop 1.  Coastal Redwoods and the Stout Grove Walk

Luckily, not wrapped around my face this time!

Our son (in-law) decided to show off his strength by holding up one of the huge cut logs.

OK, maybe he is holding a plank between them, but still an impressive feat!

We then proceeded down the coast from California back into Oregon.  We made, several, ok many stops between there and Port Orford!

Stop 2.  A beautiful beach in Port Orford

Stop 3.  RedFish Restaurant in Port Orford

Stop 4.  Port Orford Heads State Park

Stop 5.  Waiting for a sunset

Stop 6. Mimosas and Mexican for Breakfast

The kids have been so busy, we never imagined that they would be able to fit this in, but they did, and we are so very grateful!  We will cherish the memories we made with them in this short time!

As we sent them on their way back home at the end of their 38 hours in Oregon, we realized that they never got to see Turtle Rock.  So...here it is!

and to fond memories of your time on Hunter Creek and the Turtle Rock RV Resort.
