Farm Stands, Walla Walla, WA (Thursday, August 29th, 2019)

We left Quincy, Washington yesterday and made our way down to Walla Walla, on the southern border of the state.  Our kids will be joining us for the weekend, so Steve and I took some time to scope things out before they get here.

We ran by all of the wineries we will be visiting to make sure our reservations were all set, and on our way back to the RV park, we noticed a sign for a farm stand, so we stopped in to check it out.

It was a cute little farm stand from the front, and the back was completely underground, covered in grasses, herbs and flowers, keeping the stand nice and cool.

We thought it would be an attended farm stand, but to our surprise, we got inside and it was completely unattended.  There were coolers with the more perishable vegetables and shelves of the other vegetables, herbs and flowers.

After choosing our fruits and vegetables, we paid for them and took our change from the money box.  And to the right of it was their credit register for the locals.

Everything was so fresh and perfectly ripened!

We ended up visiting this little stand several more times during our stay in Walla Walla.  I was truly in love with it!
