Vinos America, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Wednesday, October 17th, 2018)

At the expat dinner last week, we were invited to a happy hour by one of the couples.  So our final errand of the day was to find a bottle of wine to take with us.

There are a lot of stores that carry wine, but they are not air conditioned, and their wine is not stored with care.  So we called Phil earlier today to see if he knew of a good place to buy wine in our neighborhood.  He directed us to a place called Vinos America.

It is a huge store that takes up about half a city block, and it is air conditioned!  Yay!  It is located on Basillo Badillo about two blocks up from Olas Atlas.   It's also directly up the street from Panchos Tacos, which is probably an easier landmark.  They had a great selection of everything, including wine. Prices were good based on what we had seen at other stores.

There were a lot of wines in this store that we knew absolutely nothing about, so we did our best to find a good one.

Now it's time to get ready for our happy hour.  We're very excited to spend more time getting to know nice people in Puerto Vallarta!
