RV Life (Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017)

We have been enjoying our time in the RV, camped in Steve's brothers driveway with full hook-ups, wifi and trash service.  How can you beat that!

It has been really fun spending time with Dennis and Cyndi while we have been here.  Each of us having our own space, and yet seeing each other outside all the time and helping each other out with little projects, etc.

We are really enjoying the simple life that the RV gives us.  It is small, and yet has everything we need while we are here.  We have found that we have to be much more organized here than at home, but it is certainly easy to do.

Since the weather has been relatively good, we have taken advantage of our outdoor space a lot, sitting around on "our" patio at night just enjoying the cool evening air.

And since our daughter has been staying with us quite often, she gets up in the morning and gets ready for work right here in her little "bedroom".  It kind of makes us laugh to see her getting ready in the tiny quarters of our motor home, but we've had a lot of fun with it, and are so thankful for this opportunity!

Since we've had a lot of thunderstorms in the afternoon, we typically spend that part of the day inside, catching up on cleaning and paperwork.  And we've even had to eat a few meals indoors, but that certainly hasn't cramped our style.

And when the thunder gets really bad and Dennis and Cyndi are gone, we've been known to go get their dog Zelda and let her wait out this thunderstorm in the comfort of our little RV.  We have a standing joke with Dennis and Cyndi that we have to pay an extra pet fee on the days that we have a dog in our motor home.

When we left Arizona on this little adventure we were pretty sure that by the end of it we would be very sick of motor home living and ready to spread back out in the comfort of our house.  But it has been quite a different experience.  We have loved our motor home time and feel that when we are in it we make a much smaller imprint on our surrounding than when we are at the house.

This simple life has been great!
