Family Day (Sunday, July 30th, 2017)

Steve left early this morning to get our daughter's tires rotated on her car, but I stayed around the motor home waiting for her to wake up. She has had an extremely busy summer, working long hours at a very rewarding internship.  So I wanted her to have every opportunity to sleep in.

Our motor home is old, and small, so we were very excited when she chose to come stay with us.  The accommodations are very humble, but also quite comfortable.  Doesn't she look comfy?

Once she got up and around, we had a quiet morning at our temporary home, and then went over to Steve's parents house.  We had a great time catching up with them and then they invited us to lunch at Panera Bread.  That place is always a favorite, and we had the perfect table outside on their patio.

Then off to run a few more errands before heading to Colorado Springs for dinner at our oldest daughter and son (in-law's) house. I rode down with our daughter.  Steve picked up his parents and some Thai food for dinner, with a plan that we would all just meet down there.

It was so nice to be back at their house.  We always get such a warm welcome and feel so at home there!  And of course, we got to see our grand kitty!  He has gotten so big!

And he's still such a sweet cat....most of the time!!!

We checked out their back yard that they have been doing so much work on and their garden, full of beautiful vegetables.  And then it started raining.  They said that it has been raining there every afternoon.  It was fun for us because we seldom get to see rain, but I think they are getting a bit tired of it.

Then we all settled in for a wonderful dinner from our favorite Thai restaurant, US Thai.

When it started getting late, we left all of our children and our grand kitty and headed back to Denver for the night.  It was so great to spend time with our oldest daughter and son (in-law).  It makes our hearts feel so good!
