Spokane River Walk, Washington (Saturday, August 18th, 2019)

We made our way from Deer Lodge, Montana to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, where we are now staying at the Elks Lodge.  It is a beautiful little RV park with 30 grassy spaces, 50 amp electric and water.  There is no sewer hookup, no dump and no WiFi, but it is perfect for the 3 days we will be spending here.

Spokane, Washington is about 30 minutes west of Coeur d' Alene.  We've been watching the weather, and decided today would be the perfect to drive into Spokane for a look around.  The main attraction in Spokane is the river front area in downtown.

We were amazed at how crystal clear the water in the Spokane River was.

There is a tram ride that takes you out over the Spokane River.

A roller, stroller, scooter park.

Several pedestrian bridges run across the river.

There is a beautiful city fountain for the kids to play in.

And a trampoline, bungee jump.

Spokane is a pretty big city, with a beautiful way to escape the hustle and bustle that comes with most big cities.  We really enjoyed our walk around the river area.
