Slowly the number of birds visiting the feeder has increased, until the last few days. All of a sudden, we have a Costa humming bird that has become very possessive of the feeder. He sits on an ornamental bird I have near the feeder and chases away any other humming bird that tries to eat. He'll sit there for hours protecting "his" feeder.
It's a beautiful bird, but his mama didn't teach him to share very well!
