Dinner at an Old Family Bar (Tuesday, November 21st, 2017)

We had a great day running errands with Steve's parents today.  I think we hit every store in Arvada.  They we're troopers trying to keep up with us, but we had a lot to do now that we are here in the big city!

After a big day of errands, we met up with our youngest daughter's boyfriends's family for dinner.  We went to a little Mexican restaurant called Araujo's in Denver.  Steve's parents rode with us, and as we pulled up outside the building, Steve's mom said "This used to be called DeNay's!".  It was the little bar that Steve's grandpa used to go to after work to meet up with all of his friends for a quick drink before going home.  It was the "Cheers" bar of area.  Steve even remembers going there with his grandpa.  He pointed out to us where the shuffle board table used to be, and the memories that this little building brought back for him.

Our daughter's boyfriend had called ahead, so they had a table all set up for us when we got there.  We started getting comfortable, and within minutes the rest of the group showed up.  This is one of their favorite restaurants in Denver, and we can definitely see why!  Such a quaint little place with great food, drinks and serivce.

We had such a great time with wonderful people!
