Halloween in Havasu (Tuesday, October 31st, 2017)

We have never celebrated Halloween in Lake Havasu City before, so we weren't sure what to expect.  It is a town where half  of the houses are up on a hill with steep driveways, and there are no street lights.  Those two things make it hard for trick-or-treaters to get around.  As we started looking into it, we realized that they do a trick-or-treat street on main street.

The side by side club was going to have a trick-or-treat booth, so we decided to hit the town and check it out.

Our first stop was a haunted house that one of the builders in town puts on each year.  He pulls some of his crew off of his construction sights so they can help him set up  his garage. He gave us a personal invitation to stop by, so of course we wanted to take him up on it.

We dressed up in kid friendly costumes to make the night more fun.  I was a lady bug, and Steve was a bug catcher.

At the haunted house, we were greeted by a scary ware wolf.

And then, witches and mummies on the front porch.  From there we headed into the garage where we found all kinds of frightful sights!

When we left the haunted house, we headed downtown to grab a beer and a quick bite to eat.

And then headed to join the side by side club members who were handing out candy to the kids.

A huge thank you from the whole town to everyone that handed out candy to make this a great night!

It seems that the whole town is right here on Main Street, so I don't think we are missing any trick-or-treaters at our house.

A cemetery even appeared in the park on Main Street.

And the costumes were great!

Once again, we are amazed at how much we love this little town.  It has such a great small town feel, even on Halloween!
