Boating (Sunday, March 19th, 2017)

Sundays are a great day for boating on Lake Havasu.  It's quieter and usually easier to launch than Saturdays.  We launched a little bit earlier than the rest of the group, and ran over to the island to see a little bit of the WORCS ATV races from the water (see previous post).  We definitely didn't have as good a view as we did yesterday, but still fun to see.

We stayed at the island until our friends launched and caught up with us, then we all headed into the channel for a short stay.

Once everyone showed up, we left the channel and headed into Steamboat Cove, where we threw a few anchors and hung out for the day.

We even had a visit from a couple of thirsty desert big horn sheep who came down for a drink.

We enjoyed a great weekend with our friends, and are looking forward to the next one, but for now, it's time to kick it down a notch and enjoy a quiet week of getting stuff done!!!!
