Back in Havasu (Saturday, May 19th, 2018)

We left Colorado yesterday and made the long trip back home.  We planned on a lazy day today getting unpacked and back to normal, but by 9:00 we were receiving calls for boating, and how can we pass that up?  Our first stop on the lake was some of our friends with the Havasu Side by Side club that met on a small beach.  Everyone brought their own lunch and drinks, so we all enjoyed what we brought.

Steve and I brought sushi...isn't that what everyone brings to a boating picnic?

We stayed with the Side by Side club for a few hours, then headed back out onto the lake.

We drove through the channel and then met up with some other friends on the white sand beach.

Before we pulled off for the day, we all decided to head over to the California side of the lake to see how the new casino on the reservation was coming along.

It's coming along well.  You can see the elevator shafts, and the first couple of floors are framed.

We had so much fun with all of our friends out on the lake today!!  At some point we're going to have to take the time to get life back in order, but not yet!
