Waiting on a Woman (Friday, May 12th, 2017)

We drove to Las Vegas to pick up our youngest daughter and waited in the cell phone lot at McCarran International Airport for her plane to arrive.  The cell phone lot at McCarran isn't much, it's just a parking lot with nothing else.

In Denver, the cell phone lot has a large air conditioned / heated building with restaurants, restrooms and arrival/departure signs where you can hang out while you wait for flights to come in.  We have become very spoiled by it.

As we sat in the plain ole parking lot at McCarran, Steve ate his chicken and veggie bowl that we had brought with us from Havasu so he could drive as we head back to Havasu..  Apparently, it smelled really good.  It attracted a pigeon that just wouldn't leave. In fact, at times we thought he was going to jump in the car with us.

Our pigeon friend helped us pass the time as we waited for our daughter's flight.  It didn't arrive until late in the evening, so we just headed straight back to Havasu, while she and I ate our chicken bowls in the car.  So yummy!
