Dinner at Yuraq (Saturday, December 30th, 2017)

After an amazing lunch at Yuraq restaurant, we decided to return for dinner.  When we arrived at the restaurant, they had a little table set up for us back in a quiet cove.  We started out with a bottle of Malbec from the Sacred Valley of Peru to enjoy while we looked through the menu.  The head chef was there, so he made sure that he understood exactly what we wanted when the waitress took our order.

We chose to eat family style and just share all of the dishes so that we could try as much as possible.

The six of us started with fried cheese and alpaca kabobs, which the chef made six each of so we would all get to try them.  Both were excellent!

After awhile we ordered our dinners, which were one pasta dish, four lomo saltado (beef tenderloin served over quinoa) and one quinoa risotto.

We finished with chocolate lava cake and another bottle of wine.

As we ate, we talked and laughed about the things that we have experienced while we have been on this journey, especially the canopy adventure.  The six of us have been together for two weeks at this point and we are closer now than when we left home!

It has been an amazing night!  We spent 3 hours at the restaurant, and with a great  tip, our dinner came to about $20 per person all included!  You can't beat that!

The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was everything we could have asked for.

If you are ever in Cuzco, Pero for lunch or dinner, this little restaurant is a must!
