Boating with Family (Friday, July 14th, 2017)

Steve's brother (Dennis) and our sister-in-law (Cyndi) are in town for a couple of weeks, and they are entertaining Cyndi's brother Todd, his wife Chris and their two girls for a few days.  They have been out on the lake several days, but haven't been out boating yet. So we offered to take them boating today so they could see more of the lake and have a change of pace.  We picked them up in the Bridge Water Channel and we headed down the lake toward Copper Canyon.

The girls started out under the mid cabin, but it didn't take them long to move to the open bow where they could really enjoy the ride!

We adults hung out in the back where it was nice and shady.

Copper Canyon was busy today, and there were even a few jumpers.

Then on to Three Dunes for lunch.

As we pulled into Three Dunes and started getting our lunch ready, four military helicopters flew over.  It is not unusual to see them at Lake Havasu.  A lot of the planes and helicopters do training maneuvers over the lake.  I'm sure they don't mind all of the bikinis, and we enjoy watching them fly by!

We pulled up to one of the Arizona State Park Fee areas for our lunch.  They are nice, with shaded tables, trash cans and restrooms.

Unintentionally showing off my tan lines.  Oops!
Then after lunch, we just soaked for hours.  Aah, so refreshing!

At the end of the day, we dropped them off in the channel again, and then met up for dinner later at Dennis and Cyndi's house.  What a great day!
