Our First "Situation" (Sunday, June 11th, 2017)

One of things that has worried us about our recent move to Arizona has been the family that still resides in Colorado, especially our youngest daughter.  We want to make sure that we are always available to help if something comes up.

Well, it happened for the first time this week.  Our youngest daughter called because her air conditioner had gone out in her car. She has always done her basic car maintenance her self, but didn't know how to re-charge the air conditioning on this car.  So Steve told her to call ??? to see how much it would be to have it recharged, and the bill came back at $200.  Since it would cost $50 max for her to do it herself (even if she had to buy the tool), that seemed at bit steep, so she decided to go to the auto parts store, buy the tool and the can of freeon, and watch a you tube video on how to do it on her car.

She and her boyfriend worked on it together, and within 1/2 an hour, they called us to let us know that it was blowing cold, and cost them a grand total of about $25.

We were so proud of both of them for figuring it out on their own, and even more than that, being willing to do it and save some money.
