Golfing at Vidanta in Puerto Penasco, Mexico Again Today (Wednesday, June 20th, 2018)

We had another tee time at Vidanta today, so we had a big breakfast at camp and then left at about 10:00 for the course. It is about a 40 minute drive to get out there, and it takes over four hours to play a round with a four-some.

On Wednesday's the restaurant invites workers and their families to come for breakfast, so this morning the restaurant was bustling with children and laughter. Everyone was all dressed up for the occasion and really enjoying themselves.

The grass on this course is so soft and spongy, it is such a pleasure to play. It is much nicer grass than we have at our course in Havasu.

When we came around to hole 10, we saw the courses golf pro teaching some of staff how to play.

This golf course is part of a timeshare resort called the Mayan.  Tony and Joyce have stayed there before and say that it is really nice.  They are still building the middle section.

As we were leaving the 18th hole, we saw a nest of baby owls just off the cart path.  They were big enough that they were venturing out from the nest, but not very far.

Then it was time to head back to camp for happy hour.  Everyone brings out so much great food that we probably don't even need dinner, but who can resist when we are in Mexico.

After snacks  time we all took a swim and then dinner at Puesta Del Sol again. Larry had ordered the Puesta Del Sol Burrito the first night we were here, and it looked so good that four of us ordered it tonight. We were not disappointed. It was great! We would definitely order it again!

When we got back to camp after dinner, Mary brought out the cherry and apple crisp again, and Larry brought out the brownies.  This is starting to become a very bad habit, but we love it!
