We flew into La Guardia, and arrived just in time for dinner, so we had the taxi just take us directly to our nephew's apartment where we spent a bit of time chatting and reconnecting. Their apartment is huge for a Manhattan apartment, and super comfortable. It was really nice to get a chance to see it before they decide to move on.
When we were all ready, we walked about three blocks to one of their favorite Italian restaurants for dinner. It was a super fun, quaint New York style place. Everything on their menu was great, but the Tuscan bean ravioli was definitely the winner!
When we finished dinner, we all went back to the apartment where we said goodbye to Steve's parents, our nephew and his fiance, and the four of us headed to our hotel.
We were staying at the Art House Hotel on 77th Avenue, between Amsterdam and Broadway. It was really pretty, with nice modern rooms. The rooms were really nice sized for Manhattan.
The lobby had a really nice little bar that opens daily at 3:00.
Now it's time to get some rest so we are ready for our big day tomorrow!
