Colorado Rockies Baseball (Tuesday, June 14th, 2016)

When we got home from the cabin, we got a call from Steve's brother asking us if we would like to go to a Rockies game.  We haven't been to one yet this year, so it sounded like a lot of fun. The Rockies are playing the NY Yankees, so we were pretty sure we wouldn't win, but it would be a fun night any way!

We took the light rail downtown, which was a first for us.  It was a great way to get downtown and avoid traffic.  Once we got into the stadium, we went to the rooftop bar for a drink before the game started.

While we were enjoying our beers, military parachuters landed in the stadium

Unfortunately, there was an injury during the game
