On our way back to Zabriskie Point from Dante’s View, we took the 20 Mule Team Canyon loop. It’s a fun little loop that you can either just drive, or you can get out and explore. We stopped shortly after we entered the loop, and while I went exploring, Steve stayed behind and made us a mid-morning coffee to enjoy in the beauty of this little canyon.
I can’t imagine what these little canyons must be like in the rain… and I don’t really want to find out.
We enjoyed our coffee in this quiet little spot that we had all to ourselves, then we continued our way through the loop.
This was a fun little drive that made us feel like we had landed on the moon. Some parts of this park are so desolate and so beautiful at the same time. After leaving 20 Mule Team Canyon, we headed back to Zabriskie Point for our hike.
